Eichhorn Manincor Pinot Bianco 2022, D.O.C. Alto Adige, Italy

Regular price £38.00

Manincor’s winery itself is a blend of tradition and innovation, with a modern, gravity-fed cellar built seamlessly into the hillside to minimize environmental impact. Committed to biodynamics since 2006, the estate avoids chemicals entirely and focuses on enhancing biodiversity and soil vitality, making Manincor a standout in both quality and conscience.  The vineyards, including the prized Eichhorn site, lie on sunlit slopes at elevations of around 300 meters, where warm Mediterranean days and cool Alpine nights create the perfect conditions for vibrant, aromatic wines. The Eichhorn vineyard, in particular, is planted on sandy clay soils with porphyry rock beneath, giving the Pinot Blanc its characteristic minerality and finesse.

The Manincor ‘Eichhorn’ Pinot Blanc 2022 is a refined biodynamic white wine from Alto Adige, Italy, crafted from grapes grown in the estate’s southwest-facing Eichhorn vineyard. Fermented spontaneously and aged on the lees for nine months in oak, it offers a vibrant, mineral-driven profile with notes of ripe apple, pear, lemon blossom, herbs, and a hint of almond. Crisp acidity and a clean, elegant finish make it ideal for pairing with seafood, light poultry, or as a refreshing aperitif. Acclaimed by critics, it’s a standout expression of Pinot Bianco with both finesse and depth.
