Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2018, A.C. Pauillac, France

Regular price £395.00

Chateau Mouton Rothschild is one of the most famous names in the world of wine. It was the first Chateaux associated with the Rothschild name when Baron Nathaniel purchased Chateau Brane-Mouton and renamed it accordingly. Since then it is regarded as one of the best wineries in the world, claiming 1er Cru Classe status in Bordeaux in 1973. Le Petit Mouton is the second wine of the estate, introduced in 1993 and gives an insight into the acclaimed estate.

An insight into Chateau Mouton Rothschild from one of the finest vintages on record. Inside the glass deep carmine and purple hues. Expect an expressive nose revolving around cocoa beans, blackberry, bilberry, coffee and graphite. Minerality leads the palate with pencil lead, dark fruit and spicy notes coming through on the finish.
