Produced by the historic and family owned Sanchez Romate Bodega who have been making wine since 1781, this is a premium, dry Spanish Sherry. This Palo Cortado begins ageing under a layer of yeast (flor) like a Fino Sherry, but then loses its Flor and begins to age oxidatively like an Oloroso Sherry. This Sherry has spent over 15-20 years ageing in Solera and Criadera systems, resulting in the unique flavours, aromas and structures found in Premium Palo Cortados. 

Complex, nutty and rich, this premium dry Sherry is very dry yet smooth, with a structured palate and long, slightly bitter, woody finish. Mahogany in colour with aromas of roasted hazelnuts and dried fruits, with hints of varnish, caramel and vanilla layered over a strong, nutty base on the palate.
