Porto Vasconcellos is a small, family-run port house with a rich heritage rooted in the Douro Valley of Portugal. Known for its traditional winemaking methods and long-aged ports, the estate has built a reputation for crafting elegant, characterful wines that reflect both terroir and time. With a particular focus on colheitas and aged tawnies, Porto Vasconcellos embodies the artisanal spirit of classic Portuguese port production. This wine is their 20 year old tawny expression, which is rarely, if ever, seen outside of Portugal so we are incredibly impressed to have this on the list.

Excellent balance between rich and elegant ripe berry fruit aroma, and the mellow notes of dried fruit, figs and some hint of vanilla. Intense golden amber colour. Smooth and silky texture, one can taste the fresh, fruity notes surrounded by more complex flavors, obtained during the aging in wood, giving this an impeccable sense of balance.
