Baron Edmond de Rothschild Amistá Grand Cru Provence Rosé 2025, A.C. Cotes du Provence, France
Amistá, meaning ‘friendship in Occitan’, is the story of a meeting between Ariane de Rothschild and Valerie Rousselle. Two wine personalities, two sunny temperaments brought together under the skies of Provence, both sharing the same values of authenticity and a taste of excellence. Amista is created using fruit selected exclusively from a Grand Cru Classé vineyard and only the very finest plots are harvested. This wonderful rosé is produced in very small volume, . The level of purity and elegance is remarkable. This is without doubt the finest rosé the Rothschild portfolio has witnessed.
An incredibly delicate and beautifully made rosé. Vibrant red fruit, peach, grapefruit, honeysuckle and cranberry. Well-balanced on the palate between the silky fruit, a touch of creaminess and a touch of fresh minerality. There is a subtle edge of bitter grapefruit on the finish which adds a lovely refreshing contrast.
