Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc 2023, Colchagua, Chile

Regular price £16.50

Domaines Barons de Rothschild acquired Viña Los Vascos in 1988, animated by a pioneering spirit and with the vision to reveal the potential of this exceptional land. Today they cultivate a common dream and project: to turn the expansive vineyard of Los Vascos into a rich ecosystem producing the most elegant Chilean wines possible. The Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc derives from fruit collected from Colchagua; which produces elegant and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc.

The nose reveals notes of white peach, pear, lychee and citrus fruits followed by a herbal finish of peppermint and tarragon. The fresh palate offers delicious acidity that enables it to work beautifully with goats cheese and creamy shellfish dishes. This is a fairly pronounced Sauvignon blanc that packs great aromatic intensity, whilst retaining DBR Lafite’s classical touch of elegance.
