Clos Cantenac Grand Cru Saint-Emilion 2012, A.C. Saint Emilion Grand Cru, France

Regular price £55.00

Clos Cantenac is a family-owned estate situated in the heart of Saint-Émilion, where traditional Bordeaux winemaking is combined with a meticulous approach to vineyard management. The estate focuses on producing wines that express the character of its terroir, with a strong emphasis on balance, elegance and authenticity. Its wines are crafted to showcase the classic style of Saint-Émilion, marrying depth and structure with refinement and ageing potential.

Deep ruby with a soft garnet edge. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry and plum are layered with notes of cedar, coffee, mint and gentle spice. The palate is velvety and structured, showing ripe dark fruit, hints of chocolate and savoury mineral tones, with softened tannins leading into a long, polished finish. Drinking beautifully now, particularly alongside roast lamb, beef dishes or mature cheeses.
