Rupert & Rothschild Baron Edmond 2014 Double Magnum, Stellenbosch, South Africa

Regular price £225.00

Baron Edmond is the top cuvee produced by Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons in South Africa using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Maturation occurs in new French for no less than twenty two months, lending plenty of ageing potential and a prominent smoky character. Historically, Edmond has been bold, richly extracted, incredibly smoky and very intense. However, this wine offers more subtlety, with layers of fruit, spice and delicate smoke.

Blackberries & blueberries, as well as coriander, menthol, chocolate and undertones of tobacco and leather.
