Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, Napa Valley, USA

Regular price £150.00

Created in 1900, Beaulieu Vineyards have become one of Napa Valley’s most sought after names. When André Tchelistcheff joined Beaulieu Vineyard in 1938, he tasted the de Latour family’s private wine – what they called “Private Reserve” – from the 1936 vintage. This Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine was so distinctive that Tchelistcheff insisted it be bottled and sold as the winery’s flagship offering. In 1940, Beaulieu Vineyard released the first vintage of Private Reserve and named it in our founder’s honor. This is their Cabernet expression from Rutherford, renowned for it’s unique soil composition known as Rutherford Dust!

This highly acclaimed, iconic, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon delivers. Featuring notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, cocoa and violet, this wine is built for long term ageing with velvety tannins. Rich, complex and full bodied, this is everything you want from a Cabernet Sauvignon.
