Château Clarke 2012 Magnum, A.C. Listrac Medoc, France
Château Clarke is a distinguished wine estate located in the Listrac-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, France. The estate's origins trace back to the 12th century when Cistercian monks first cultivated vines on the property. In 1771, the Clarke family acquired the estate, lending it their name. A significant transformation occurred in 1973 when Baron Edmond de Rothschild purchased Château Clarke. Under his ownership, the vineyard underwent extensive replanting and modernization, revitalizing its winemaking practices and enhancing the quality of its wines.
Fresh aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry, with elegant oak nuances. Hints of mint and liquorice on the rich and concentrated palate followed by fresh acidity. The Chateau Clarke you know and love in a larger format, perfect to age and drink through to 2032.
