Domaine Dominique Cornin is an artisinal 10 hectare Domaine ran by the father-and-son duo Dominique and Romain. Full organic since 2000, true care goes into each step of their wine-making - from biodynamic preparations, hand harvesting, and fermenting using indigenous yeasts found naturally in the vineyard. They produce excellent Macon with great value for money! 2022 was a legendary vintage with prime conditions resulting in a ripe, balanced and elegant wine.
Coming from some of the oldest vines in the vineyard, their Macon-Chaintre spends no time in oak but has 11 months of contact with the lees making for a beautifully fruity and complex wine. Expect notes of ripe stone fruits such as as yellow apricot and peach, with well-rounded creamy and nutty elements. Try if you usually love a Chablis!
