Regular price £85.00

Cave Jean René Germanier is a distinguished winery located in the heart of the Valais region of Switzerland, known for producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the area. Founded by Jean René Germanier, the winery combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern innovation, crafting a range of wines that highlight the distinct flavors of the region’s indigenous grape varieties. With a commitment to sustainability and quality, Cave Jean René Germanier has earned a reputation for producing elegant, aromatic wines that capture the essence of Valais’ diverse landscapes.

On the nose, pronounced intensity aromas of red fruits with a hint of black fruits too, followed by notes of cloves, pepper, as well as a discreet scent of hard and precious wood, from 16 months in oak barrels. The mouth is characterized by its freshness and finesse. The attack is lively and supple. The wine continues with same pronounced intensity of fruit and spice as the nose with an elegant balance between fruit and acidity culminating in a long and lingering finish. One of the best Pinot Noirs we have had the good fortune to taste.
