Located in the southern part of the Medoc peninsula near the villages of Macau & Ludon, Chateau Cantemerle, designated a great growth in the famous 1855 classification, has deep gravel soil. Thanks to its unique terroir, Cantemerle produces complex, well-balanced, and refined wines. This is the second wine from the famous estate. Made using the younger vines, the winemakers here pride themselves on following all the wine making techniques used for their top wine within this cuvee also, making this incredible value for money.

Expect classic claret here with some flair typically of the 2020 vintage. Notes of black fruits including blackcurrant, blackberry, fig and plum with plenty of red fruit also which comes in the form of crunchy redcurrants and morello cherry. There is oak here too, so nuances of vanilla, oak, toast and tobacco are also to be expected.
