Légendes R Pauillac is made from grapes grown in Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)’s own vineyards and, once again, the wines are made with the same attention to detail as for the Grand Vin. Produced from the properties’ younger vines, these are classic , good quality wines. Their structure is less concentrated than their prestigious elders, allowing them to evolve quickly, and after just a few months in the bottle, they offer an original, unique style, with the fullness and complexity for which the appellation is renowned.

Deep purple robe with black hints. The nose is complex and layered, the bouquet will further develop with decanting. A swirling of the glass will reveal notes of toasted oak, spices and pencil lead delicately woven together. Assertive on the palate, this full-bodied wine shows great persistence and rich flavours. This wine will benefit from further cellaring, yet it shows well after a couple of hours in a decanter.
