Los Vascos Chardonnay 2023, Colchagua, Chile

Regular price £15.00

Domaines Barons de Rothschild acquired Viña Los Vascos in 1988, animated by a pioneering spirit and with the vision to reveal the potential of this exceptional land. Today they cultivate a common dream and project: to turn the expansive vineyard of Los Vascos into a rich ecosystem producing the most elegant Chilean wines possible. Los Vascos’ rosé is made from grapes which are pressed immediately after harvesting. This preserves the freshness, the fruity aromas and the bright colour brought of the juice straight from the vineyard. It is best to drink this wine young to fully enjoy its lively character and finesse.

Crystal-bright pale-golden colour with blonde hues. The nose has some expressive notes of banana and custard apple (Chile's local and beloved “chirimoya”), joined by notes of dried fruits and hints of citrus. The palate is silky and lingering with both volume and freshness that makes this wine a juicy and well-balanced example. A versatile example of crisp and delicate Chardonnay.
