Mas Comtal is an organic, family run Spanish winery located at the foot of the Garraf mountains. Producing some of Catalonia's greatest wines, Mas Comtal combines a deep respect for tradition with sustainable farming practices. This Lyric Merlot is no exception, aged in 225 litre barrels over a 20 year period using a Solera system. 

With forest fruits dominating, hints of nuts and toast, this wine is suitably sweet but definitely not cloying.
