Moulin de Duhart, 2021, A.C. Pauillac, France

Regular price £62.50

Château Duhart-Milon’s second wine is selected on the same basis as the “Grand Vin”. In general, the grapes are from the younger plots in the vineyard. Moulin de Duhart has several similar comparisons to the Grand Vin displaying that classic Lafite minerality with layers of complexity and elegance. Moulin will drink much better in it’s youth than its counterpart.

Moulin de Duhart is the most cost-effective way of experiencing Lafite’s celebrated ‘house style’. This Merlot rich Pauillac embodies Lafite’s renowned elegance and sophistication. After decanting there’s black cherries, cassis, cloves and lavender with classic minerality and pencil shavings. Generous and supple on the palate. A wonderful Moulin with richness and freshness leading to a lengthy finish.
