The philosophy of the Ornellaia estate is defined by a blend of the terroir and free thinking, with a focus on individualized care across different parcels of the vineyard in order to magnify the expression of their unique character. Extending from Bolgheri to the Mediterranean coast, the terroir benefits from clay and a slightly higher altitude, dotted with limestone pebbles. 

Named after an ancient Mediterranean plant, Ornus by Ornellaia is a product of time, expertise and meditation. Made from late-harvest grapes selection from a tiny vineyard, the 2020 vintage has a lovely signature shade of gold in the glass, with intense aromas of sweet honey and quince, alongside subtle dried apricot. The palate displays a lovely citrus freshness.
