Poupon’s Paws – Waddesdon Chocolates

A box of chocolate truffle paws featuring a charming illustration of Poupon Rothschild sat on his haunches, paws raised, begging for treats (possibly for dog-friendly chocolate paws!). These chocolates are most definitely for humans, however, containing a delicious mix of milk chocolate orange truffles and white chocolate cookies & cream truffles.

Poupon was Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild’s beloved pet poodle.  He was trained to perform tricks for Ferdinand’s house guests, such as jumping over a course set up in the East Gallery at Waddesdon.
