Ana Rola was born & bred in the Douro & since an early age knew what she wanted to do: to be a winemaker in the Douro Valley, her home. She can find originality, unbeatable terroir knowledge & overcome the challenges in creating a wine that stands out from the crowd! This wine has bags of complexity, tannins, a robust intense character with dark fruit & spices in wonderful harmony with the silky texture, elegance & length. This is arguably one of the best wines from Douro we have tasted!

It is a beautiful dark violet, cherry colour with ripe fruit aromatics that are well integrated with the oak. After fermenting in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures this wine is then aged in French oak for 18 months. The balance is perfected by aging 80% in 2nd used barriques & the remain 20% in new barriques.
