Wynn's Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Coonawarra, Australia

Regular price £45.00

Established in the heart of Coonawarra, Wynns is one of Australia's most celebrated wineries and a pioneer of the region's world-renowned Cabernet Sauvignon. With a winemaking heritage dating back to the 1950s, the estate is renowned for producing elegant, age-worthy wines that showcase the distinctive terra rossa soils of Coonawarra. An Australian icon first produced in 1954, Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from the estate's finest Cabernet fruit grown on Coonawarra's famed terra rossa soils.

The 2017 Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautifully balanced expression of Coonawarra, offering aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and dark cherry layered with classic notes of mint, cedar, tobacco leaf and subtle spice. The palate is elegant yet concentrated, with ripe black fruit supported by fine, chalky tannins, vibrant acidity and hints of graphite and cocoa from well-integrated French oak. It finishes long and refined, leaving lingering notes of dark berries, savoury herbs and a distinctive mineral freshness.
